Directions to St Edmund Hall

There are good transport services to Oxford from all over the UK. The Railtrack web site can help you plan your train journey. Trains from London leave hourly and the journey takes approximately 60 minutes.

The Oxford Bus Company and Oxford Tube run excellent coach services to from London, Gatwick and Heathrow to Oxford's Gloucester Green Bus Station. The coaches stop outside the college and provide a frequent and reliable service every 20 minutes or less. Just ask the driver to drop you off at Queen's Lane. The journey from London takes approximately 80 minutes, depending on the traffic.

Taxis are readily available from both the bus and train stations. The journey takes approximately 5-10 minutes and should cost about £5.00. Ask for Queen's Lane off the High Street.

Driving to The Hall is less convenient. Street parking anywhere in Oxford is difficult to find, but available nonetheless. The municipal car park in St. Clements is also only a few yards away. If you are driving we would advise you to use Oxford's "Park & Ride" facilities which can be found on all the main routes into the city.
